For Road Race - Street/Strip - DBW (Drive-by-wire) cars with Manual Transmission

Summary of Operation
Our newest Gearbox Control Unit brings the features of our sequential transmission module to any car with a manual transmission.
No-Lift Shifting at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) via spark cut allows for quick, smooth and
consistent shifts. Under braking during downshifts a throttle blip provides seamless rev matching.

Important Information: Clutch Switches and Sensors

The most critical input for the GCU-H system is the upper clutch pedal position switch as it determines when a shift is happening.
During a WOT upshift (accelerator is above WOT%) the clutch press ON/OFF determines the duration of the spark cut.
Downshift (braking first, THEN clutch press) it initiates the Drive-By-Wire Blip.

Upper clutch pedal position switches come in a variety of configurations, aka:
- "Upper Clutch Switch"
- "Clutch Pedal Position switch"
- "Cruise control release switch"

The most common upper clutch pedal switch is 12V active LO (12V unpressed, 0V (GND) pressed).

We also support the following:
- 12V Active HI (0V unpressed, 12V pressed)
- 5V Active High (0V unpressed, 5V pressed) (Switch or Variable Sensor)
- 5V Active LOW (5V unpressed, 0V (GND) (Switch or Variable Sensor)

If your vehicle is not on our supported list we can help determine which clutch pedal switch/sensor is in your car and which signal wire we will need to tap.
